The lodge is located on the western border of Maasai Mara National Reserve, within the Mara Triangle Conservancy. By air, daily flights from Wilson Airport, Nairobi land at Angama Airfield in just 45 minutes. By road, it is about 270 km from Nairobi, taking roughly 5–6 hours through Narok and into the escarpment.
