About This Hotel
Lorian Safari Camp is a luxury tented camp that offers a genuine African Safari experience in the unspoiled Mara National reserve, where the open plains, forests, and river make a beautiful wild scenario. Lorian safari camp is located inside the Maasai Mara National reserve and about 200meters from Olkiombo airstrip which sits just north of the Talek River. From Nairobi to Masai Mara it is estimated to be 250 km which by road takes 5-6 hours’ drive. Daily scheduled flights from Nairobi take 45min to Olkiombo Airstrip Masai Mara followed by a 10min transfer to the camp.
The camp consists of 8 comfortable stylish en suite tents of which 5 are Luxury (executive) tents and 3 standard tents with en suite bathrooms. The tents are fully furnished, featuring electricity and small verandahs. The rooms are equipped with Mosquito nets, private verenda, safari chairs and desk, King size bed and Queen beds.
The camp has a specious dinning and lounge area which provides a comfortable place for gusts to dine and relax. The camp serves international and local cuisines. The camp also has a bar that is well stocked with local and international drinks Wine, Beers and cocktails.
Masai Mara is an excellent wildlife reserve offering splendor experience of the Mara, From the big five (Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Buffalo, Rhino), Giraffe, Zebras Wildebeests which migrate annual from the Serengeti crossing the Mara river entering the Masai Mara (Wildebeest Migration occurs during the month of July – September) lucky adventurers will get to witness the adrenaline-fueled crossing of the Mara river.
