Serena Beach Resort and Spa is an oasis of tranquility framed by whispering coconut palms, lush gardens and one of the most beautiful white sand beaches on the Indian ocean. The resort offers relaxation and comfort in this warm, family-friendly tropical paradise in Mombasa. The resort is situated on the white sand beaches of Shanzu on the Indian Ocean, 20 km from Mombasa town and 27km from the Moi international Airport.

There are 164 guest rooms comprising standard rooms, superior rooms, family rooms and suites. Guest rooms are tastefully fitted with air conditioning, tea/coffee station, a minibar, satellite tv, a work desk, safe, private balcony. The superior rooms are designed in Swahili style with traditional niches, fretwork cabinets, brightly colored coastal cotton soft furnishings in red/white/yellow or cool blue. Family rooms have a common entrance corridor leading to two separate rooms fitted with separate living rooms, bathtubs, massage showers.

The resort boasts different amenities which include different restaurants all designed with different themes and serving local and international cuisines, the restaurants include; The fountain, The jahazi grill, The Sokoni, The pizzeria house and The Makuti an open thatched coffee and tea bar.
