Talek Bush Camp

Talek Bush Camp is a tented camp on the banks of Talek River on the Eastern Edge of Masai Mara game reserve. The camp is situated a few minutes’ walk to Talek Gate and 500 meters from Hippo view point. The camp can be accessed by either road or air.  By rad it is estimated to take 5-6 hours which is a distance of 250km from Nairobi. Flights from Nairobi land at Kiombo airstrip which is about 45min followed by a 15km transfer to the camp.

The camp consists of 10 specious and comfortable rooms raised on a wooden deck overlooking Talek River reflecting traditional building styles with modern comfort. The camp offers various sizes of double and single tents with off-tent bathrooms and shower rooms. Some of the units include a terrace and/or a balcony with river or garden views. Each room is well elevated, decorated and furnished with en-suite facilities like clean private flush toilets, safari-styles hot & cold shower, dressing table, mosquito nets, televisions, Deck chairs, work desk, wooden Tables.

Amenities at the camp are such as; a restaurant serving African, Asian & European cuisine and also guests can get to enjoy a continental breakfast daily at the campground, there is an outdoor swimming pool where guests can unwind and get to relax, the camp has wi-fi connectivity to ensure guests stay connected, also a stocked bar, lounge and laundry services are available.
